Inspired to start on the turn tables in 1991 by watching Germany’s DJ David win the DMC championships it wasn’t long before Richie new he had found his chosen path, not just a DJ but a turntablist! He begun experimenting first off with old Skool jungle then moved through the years between house, brakes, old skool hardcore, happy hardcore, drum and bass, garage, funk, soul, hip hop and R’n’B. It took a while, years in fact, but eventually he had mastered and perfected all styles and now is predominantly a hip hop and R’n’B scratch DJ. But can resist his UKG and 4 x 4 routes coming through when required.

After years of lower level gigs, public and private parties and events, bars and smaller clubs, Richie was ready to show people what he was capable of. And on January 1st 2000 Richie officially stepped into the professional circuit. I remember the night like it was yesterday, I was so nervous I couldn’t even carry my two boxes of records, he quotes. The first big gig was at Garage Fever at Hollywood’s in Romford and as soon as his needle touched the record he was in the zone. He cut it up, chopped it up, scratched and laced accapella beats over instrumentals and had the place jamming. At the end of the set he was immediately asked to join a London pirate station in Hackney. But seeing as he already held a residency at two of Essex’s larger pirates charge; 90.8 in Basildon and with Dirty South Crew’s TKO FM in South end, he declined. Since then Richie has had radio residencies such as Blaze FM, Pulse FM, Elite FM, Sweet FM, Shade FM, Essex FM, Lush, Renegade FM, Y2K FM and London’s delight FM.

After that first proper gig back in the day Richie has gone from strength to strength by tearing up nearly every club in Essex and some of the more prestigious London night clubs such as; Adlivs, Astairs, Bagleys, the bank in Ireland, Bonds Bar, Bug jam, Chameleon, Club rise, Cookies and cream, Diva, Donny south car show, Donny north car show, Emilies,  Ego’s, Fire and Ice, Garage nation, Garage Fever, Garage Heaven, Hanover Grand, Hollywood’s London, Hollywood’s Romford, Ignite, Ikon, Lava, Life Bar, Liquid, Max power London, Max power NEC (both shows and after parties), Mayhem, The Odyssey Arena (Ireland), Oscars, Palace ball room, Paris tuning show, Reds, Rumours, Run to the sun, Sleek FX (Ireland), Scala, Storm, Talk, Time and Envy, Time, Trax, Ultimate Street car, Weston Wheels, Yum Yum's and zero’s.

Richie has also played many sunnier resorts, bars and clubs in Europe and the world such as; Ibiza, Magaluff, France, South Africa, Spain, Ayia Napa Black ‘n’ White club, planet bar, Havana bar, and the world famous Nissi Beach. Kavoss London bar, 42nd street, Manhattan bar, Trinity club.

Richie has held long term residencies along side these at the following clubs;
